Our Blue Marans have been here since the poultry bug hit. They had clean legs, yellow toes and pale eggs. Our birds are now consistently sporting well feathered shanks, grey - pink toes and while the eggs aren't a true Marans colour yet, we continue to work on it. This year the breeding pen includes blue wheaten and blue copper Marans for a dash of colour on the birds and a darker egg.
